Juice Recipes

In going through some boxes buried in a closet looking for something completely unrelated with my mom this weekend and we found a delightful treasure that I’m going to share with all of you, my dear readers.

When I was four years old, I apparently came up with several recipes for juice in the Little Girl, Girl, Little Boy, and Man varieties.  Once you read these, you’ll laugh and laugh and laugh and then wonder what was a four year old girl doing with such an obsession with chicken feathers and bones, just like I did when my mom brought these to my attention.

Little Girl Juice

1/2 cup taco meat
3 cups flour
4 cups toys
1 cup water

Mix all together with bones.

Girl Juice

3 cups sugar
4 cups rooster feathers
5 cups rooster eggs
3 cups bones
4 cups chicken
3 cups cereal

Mix with water and spoon all together.

Little Boy Juice

3 cups sugar
4 cups egg feathers
1 cup hair
1 cup paper
2 cups straw
3 cups milk
4 cups flower stems
5 cups potatoes

Mix all together with water and milk.

Man Juice

1 cup Kool-Aid
2 cups rooster feathers
3 cups manapple juice
1 cup fish stick water
1 cup bones
1 cup chicken
3 cups medicine

Mix all together with water and a spoon.

Don’t all these recipes sound delicious?  My personal favorite is the Girl Juice.  Scrumptious!  If you make any of these, please let me know in the comments below!  I’d love to know what you think of them, or if you tweak them at all for your own personal tastes!

But really in all honesty, I hope that in the future if I should have a daughter, I hope at four years old she was as messed up and funny as I was at four years old.  You go, four year old Kate!  You have an odd fascination with bones and rooster feathers!
